Clear scope before paid work
The purpose, boundaries, deliverables, timing, access, and fee are agreed in writing before a paid engagement begins.
Client commitments
These commitments define how Sustainable Gaps scopes engagements, handles information, supports conclusions, uses technology, and leaves completed work with the client.

Conclusions distinguish what was observed, what was documented, what was calculated, and what remains an informed judgment.
The first consultation does not require confidential or identifying information. Deeper access is defined only when the work requires it.
Technology may support research and analysis, but client conclusions and deliverables receive human review and responsibility.
Ownership and continuity
SG solutions are designed to remain usable without forcing the organization into an indefinite consulting or software relationship.
Security and information control
Azure and Microsoft 365 provide the operating environment. Microsoft Entra controls identity and access. The client's policies determine the additional controls required for the work.
Microsoft Entra identity and multifactor authentication provide the access baseline for client implementations.
Roles, permissions, Conditional Access, and approval requirements follow the client's policies and licensed Microsoft capabilities.
The written scope identifies where records live, how activity is logged, how long information is retained, how it is backed up, and how it is deleted or handed off.
SG builds inside the client's existing approved Microsoft environment. Work product stays within that boundary and is not transferred into an SG-owned SaaS platform.
Professional honesty
An assessment may show that the issue is smaller, different, or less ready for implementation than expected. SG will explain that directly.
Recommendations identify assumptions, dependencies, and information still needed. A confident tone is never a substitute for sufficient evidence.

The SG method shows where scope, evidence, client ownership, implementation, and handoff enter the engagement.
