Working Models
Knowledge Frameworks
Five decision-oriented models that structure SG engagements from first example to reviewable outcome.
Framework library
Repeatable thinking for non-repeatable conditions.
The models are practical by design. Each one should create an artifact a team can use: a state map, decision record, owner list, readiness view, or scorecard.
Framework 01
3-State Gap Model
Beginning State, Current State, Desired State. Engagements start by establishing all three with precision. The gap between Current and Desired is the engagement scope. The gap between Beginning and Current is the baseline narrative.
Framework 02
Signal-to-Decision Protocol
A structured protocol for converting market signals, customer needs, fleet constraints, and operational alerts into documented decision inputs — with timestamps, source attribution, and named ownership.
Framework 03
Decision Record Framework
A retrospective model for comparing past decisions against actual outcomes. Identifies recurring patterns in information quality, timing, ownership, and follow-through.
Framework 04
Readiness Alignment Matrix
Maps an organization's current execution posture against job, customer, asset, and service requirements. Produces a prioritized gap list with owners and milestone gates.
Framework 05
Outcome Accuracy Scoring
A review model that compares stated intent, chosen actions, and documented outcomes. The artifact is a plain scorecard leaders can use to see whether the decision held.
